Every Child Matters
On this National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we take a moment to reflect on the importance of this day.
We honour the survivors of residential schools, their families and communities, and we remember the children who never made it home. As we hold hands together in solidarity, we acknowledge that our chorus rehearses on the traditional lands of the Anishinaabeg, Haudenosaunee, Lunaapeewak, and Attawandaron peoples, within the territory of the Three Fires Confederacy.
Let us all take this day to learn, listen, and work towards a better, more just future. To learn more, visit https://orangeshirtday.org.
